It was discovered recently by Lynne Cheney, the Vice President’s wife, during research for her new book that 2008 Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama and Vice President Dick Cheney are cousins!!! If you’re familiar with each of the two’s physical statures (not just the black-white thing you racist!) as well as their pollar oppositte political convictions, then you’ll find this news quite awesome!

The story goes like this: Obama is a descendent of Mareen Duvall. The French Huguenot’s son married the granddaughter of a Richard Cheney, who arrived in Maryland in the late 1650’s from England. AND THE OUTCOME IS THAT OBAMA AND CHENEY ARE NINTH COUSINS ONCE REMOVED. Only in Washington.

We just got a Facebook invite to a facegroup announcing a book some 23 year old kid from Tucson gets to write because he “had a heart attack 5 years ago.” WOOPTEE-EFFING-DO! If this kid gets to write a book, then why can’t an overprivileged guy from Beverly Hills get to write a book about his struggles relocating to Scottsdale where he has had to coup with less-than-adequate sushi, the absence of Rodeo Drive, and no Lindsey Lohan to bump into while partying???

Seriously though, just wait until “JON GLUCK: The Story of One Guy’s Struggle to Make Shirts with His Own Name on Them - A Novel” is released! Haha. Idiots!

No Joke! That’s a huge selling point when dealing in the shady real estate market.

I WONDER IF THEY CAN FIND US THE NEW ICONIC HEADQUARTERS NOW THAT WE’RE GROWING FASTER THAN A FLOWER IN FAST-FORWARD MODE… WHAT THE!

P.s. This is the first time this big news has been made official and public, but talk of Triyar’s major development push in Old Town has been on insider’s radars for almost a year. I wonder what else we know now, that most won’t know until a year from now… HHMMMM…

Ya, i know what you’re thinking… that last name might sound a bit similar to Jon Gluck’s precious ex gfriend… well, it’s her big bad brother and he’s officially legendary. No, I’m not sucking up, because the baby girl and I split months ago. So this is a legitimate shout out to a ginormously nerdy feat, but a feat nonetheless.

For those of you without a BLACKBERRY (or “BB” as us users call it), you probably have no idea what BrickBreaker is… but it is a game of champions! FUN LITTLE TIDBIT: At one point during his streak, Brandon built up 350 lives (again, only impressive to people who play and can’t seem to wrack up more than 7 lives at any one time)

KID ROCK is in town today to perform tonight at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. A really cool thing that has been evolving in recent months, is that celeb reps are beginning to get comfortable calling us to handle any special arrangements while the celebs are in town. It just so happens, Jonny Gluckers got a call from Kid Rock’s rep early today to set him up for nightlife tonight… I WONDER WHERE WE WILL CHOOSE TO SEND HIM??? Head out tonight… I’m sure word will spread turbo fast.

Well, we come to find out during a nice recap meeting with ICONIC’s event photographer that a little scary episode happened to him during our Two Year Anniversary Event at Barcelona this past Saturday. While we were all making final preparations to everything before doors opened at 8pm, we bumped into John Daly of the PGA and Pat Burrell of pro baseball’s Philidelphia Phillies. Barcelona management saw a great photo opp between the 2 pro athletes and the gorgeous waitress staff who were dressed in those now-famous little french maid outfits… FAST FORWARD A FEW MOMENTS… READY… AIM… CLICK… DONE AND DONE. But not so fast… turns out Pat Burrell pulled our photog aside some time later and did the classic “I will break your camera” jekyll-and-Hyde move. I would understand if maybe he got a side shot of Mr. B. holding the hand of an undisclosed young temptress with his wedding ring also in the shot, but if the guy stands up, walks over to the group shot, stands still and smiles for not one but a few photos, at that point isn’t it safe to assume that he has given the celebrity OK to shoot away??? APPARENTLY NOT!

Kinda weird but kinda classic… good work ICONIC photog for standing your ground and getting the shot back to homebase. And shame on you $13 million baseball man !!!

We thought it might be interesting to some to learn the REAL names behind some of the top DJ PERSONAS in the industry.
