So just as I’m rising from an infamous Gluck nap, i start checking one of dozens of texts (most from Verizon repeatedly asking to pay the bill) that came through during the 45 minute glorious sleep. It reads:

JON, CAN WE MOVE YOU’RE TABLE TO FISH TANK? MANNY RAMIREZ IS COMING IN AND WE WANT TO PLACE HIM ON STAGE RIGHT!

Now, without going into the mumbo jumbo of what ‘fish tank’ and ’stage right’ means, i happily obliged since my job is to look out for the club’s best interest and in this case that is most certainly making sure a future Hall of Famer from the World Champion Boston Red Sox is a happy guest on our night!

So the night begins and Jonny Gluckers makes his grand entrance to many handshakes and endless flash bulbs… turns out that a big-time VIP friend of ours (drops a good couple grand at least every visit) is the guy who brought Manny in. I thanked the guy, made sure everyone got a round of Jager Bombs and sat back as Dom after Cristal after Goose was opened as if children in Somalia aren’t starving for canned goods!! Good work you legend of a left fielder!

p.s. Boris Diaw of the Phoenix Suns spent most of the night at the other end of the lounge, standing out like a palm tree in a hay stack! Very nice guy, by the by!

KID ROCK is in town today to perform tonight at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. A really cool thing that has been evolving in recent months, is that celeb reps are beginning to get comfortable calling us to handle any special arrangements while the celebs are in town. It just so happens, Jonny Gluckers got a call from Kid Rock’s rep early today to set him up for nightlife tonight… I WONDER WHERE WE WILL CHOOSE TO SEND HIM??? Head out tonight… I’m sure word will spread turbo fast.
