MONDAY POLITICKING: Week 1
(was supposed to post this on Monday but got super busy, so here it is)
So the 2008 US presidential race is in full swing (less than a year away)! Why not start doing play by plays. Every Monday, we are going to give our quick two cents on how each candidate on both sides is doing in our worthless opinion. We will do so for each in TWO WORDS OR LESS… And will also make note when a candidate finally drops out of the race as well as who our weekly TOP PICKS are.
We begin WEEK 1 with a total of 14 national candidates (8 Republicans & 6 Democrats) still in the running:
::: REPUBLICANS :::
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani of New York >>> A Leader
Former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas >>> Somewhat Impressed
Representative Duncan Hunter of California >>> Good Politician
Former Ambassador Alan Keyes >>> Articulate
Senator John McCain of Arizona >>> Most Deserving
Representative Ron Paul of Texas >>> A Joke
Former Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts >>> Just Looks
Former Senator Fred Thompson of Tennessee >>> Condescending, Arrogant
::: DEMOCRATS :::
Senator Hillary Clinton of New York >>> Uninspiring, Dysfunctional
Former Senator John Edwards of North Carolina >>> Very Good
Former Senator Mike Gravel of Alaska >>> Who?!
Representative Dennis Kucinich of Ohio >>> Annoying, Weird
Senator Barack Obama of Illinois >>> Wannabe
Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico >>> Experienced
[one of the descriptions above is intended to make fun of a classic Bush statement that got blown way out of proportion not too long ago… can you spot it?]
