As is our job as resident trendsetters, our latest trendy discovery has to do with the all-powerful punctuation. Whereas three exclamation marks (”!!!”) has been the norm in the past, the two exclamation mark emphasis (”!!”) has emerged as the new cool! For that matter, the same goes for the ellipsis (”…”). This is now the trendy way to demonstrate that there’s more to come: .. (we will call this 2-dot version, “sis”)

Some real life examples:

THE OLD, OUT OF STYLE WAY OF EMPHASIZING: “MINT Thursdays!!! at SIX Lounge is gonna be huge tonight…”

THE NEW, EN VOGUE WAY OF SHOWING YOU MEAN BUSINESS: “MINT Thursdays!! at SIX Lounge is gonna be ginormous tonight..”

Notice the difference??? I know, effing incredible! Now carry on with your day!!
